Presenter(s): Julie Coolbaugh (MS, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, GCSC), VP of HR MBP

The events of the past year have brought to light just how important ethics in leadership really is.  In times of crisis, employees naturally look to leadership for answers, guidance, action, and hope.  This session will highlight the critical role that leadership plays in organizations during troubling, changing times, plus discuss ways ethical leadership can effect company culture, as well as the bottom line.

Learning objectives:

  • Define ethics in the workplace and learn to recognize ethical issues as they arise
  • Look at company practices, policies and training to encourage ethical behavior
  • Discuss the importance of ethical leadership during a crisis
  • Examine the application of empathy, compassion, and emotional intelligence in leadership
